 Hello Comrades of Post 12028

Couple of District 6 announcements to pass along.

1)  The District wide youth essay event.  Well be held this coming Sunday January 6.  At the Camas Community Center in Camas.  The event starts at 2:00 PM.  So we need everyone attend to come by 1:00 PM.  To help with Camas post with setup.  Please pass this along to your Post Auxiliary.  Also note Dept Conference will be held towards the end of the week in Yakima.

2)  Please be aware Dist Commander Glenn Fischer.  Well be visiting your post soon.  To conducted your Post Inspection.  A phone call and e-mail will be sent to your post.  Informing you of the upcoming inspection.

3)  It is with great sadness to report the passing.  Of Richard Alverez from Post 7824.   The memorial service for Richard will be held.  On Friday January 4 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Chapel.  The service starts at 12:30 PM.  Please arrive early for the service for parking.  Later in the evening the family will be holding a potluck over at the 40ET8 Boxcar room in Hazel Dell starting at 6:00 PM.
